Have you seen my face recently? Oh my days! I offended my hormones and a boy whose name I don’t remember. It all started 79 million light years ago, when I was a babe. I was sarcastic to this one boy, a Nigerian. I’ve not always been a Nigerian, you should know. Well, that’s matter for another day. Back to history. Due to events beyond my control, the Nigerian boy said, “You’ll be single till your 58 years old. Every week before your menstrual cycle starts, you will be attacked by pimples. They will be thick and will be the size of your ____”.

You should try this acne lotion. No, try that acne facial wash. No, essential oil works best. Just change your facial routine. It’s the food you eat. Try that toner, it worked for me. Believe me, I’ve done most of every available solution. My hormones calm down for days, then resurface stronger and shielded.
Am I still open to more opinions? Yes, please. I just want to be a babe again. It should be effective against nodules and whiteheads – those are the types I battle.
Recently, someone suggested tomatoes. I’m using it on my face and drinking it as well. My dose of wellness. It won’t hurt to go both ways.

Back to the actual news. Recently, I’ve been working on my resume. You should too, if you haven’t started already. These past months, I continuously indulged in the freelance job market. I missed a lot of jobs. 😭🤧
At a glance, about 96% of good jobs passed by because I didn’t have the necessary portfolio to prove my skills. These days you have to prove everything, it’s just how it is. Honestly, I’ll be going back to my previous dimension soon – this one is exhausting.
I’m too boujee to let those set down ruin my happy self. To be better prepared for my next interview, I’m changing everything except my hair. Why is it pronounced resume not resume? How do you even know the difference right now?
Portfolios, resumes, and CVs, you should have all those well set out and prepared. Even if you have a job already. Dust it, keep improving it, and keep winning.
I met someone during my recent internship, so I decided to find him on LinkedIn. Seriously, he posted, you can find me on LinkedIn along with his profile link. So, I did exactly that. This thing called action. Repeat after me, “I will take action. I will subscribe now”. Anyway, I found his profile. To say he is qualified doesn’t describe him properly. He has a long list of certificates and accomplishments credited to his name. On the other hand, I had nothing to show except my boujee self; my forever drip. Knowing that, I almost cried. In my defence, I was eating so I could not afford to cry then.
Don’t ever mix bad energy with your meal, you’ll get stomach ache and chest burn.
My little sister said, “If he is that qualified, why is he dragging this internship with you?”
“People want to learn new things, Victory. Everyone wants to be better”.
The younger ones don’t understand these things. I’m ancient, so I know better.
Moving on, I’ve worked and I’m still working on my portfolios and resumes. If you have been at this crossroad, felt the heat and pressure that comes with not being qualified in employers term.
